Exercise Demonstration and Research
There are many different types and methods of exercise. It is important for adults to participate in 30-90 minutes of activity per day. As individuals you will research the benefits of lunges. You will then create a video on Seesaw explaining the research you found, and demonstrating one of the three lunges I have posted.

Personal Fitness Workout Video
Students are to create their own workout video based upon the different workouts we have completed in class. The video must include a warm-up, exercise session, and cool down. It must also incorporate fitness terminology and identification of muscles. The video must be 5-7 minutes long and must be submitted on DVD or on a flash drive to be transferred to my computer.

PERSONAL FITNESS GOAL SETTING
Three personal fitness goals should be submitted at the beginning of the semester, and during the mid-semester fitness check-up. Goals should be specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and submitted on time (SMART).

Weightroom Expectations
Students will be given a weight room grade everyday. Total possible points are 25 points. Students with Doctor's notes will do the same by marking Doctor in the log bok. Either of these situations do not mean you have credit for the day. It is your responsibility to make sure you complete daily assignments.

Personal Exercise Plan - F.I.T.T. Principle
Students will apply the F.I.T.T. principle to their own lives based on their fitness levels and abilities in order to create a personalized exercise plan. Students will be assessed based on their ability to create a 30-day personalized exercise plan based on the F.I.T.T. principle. They will also be required to justify their exercise plan based on an explanation of their physical abilities and fitness level, via class presentation.

Exercise Demonstration
Students will teach the class how to perform one exercise aimed to improve flexibility, muscular endurance, muscular strength or cardiovascular endurance targeting at least one major muscle group.

Evaluation of Online Participation
Students will have additional clarity about how their online participation will be evaluated. Online activity is one element of the participation grade for this course; the other is in-class participation. A minimum of one original post and two responses is what is required each week.

Demonstration of First Aid Skills
Students will be put in a simulated emergrency situation using the manikins as the victims. The students will need to approach the situation and be able to identify each victims symptoms and treat them with the proper first aid skills. The student will also be able to examine their own performance and critique their performance. The student will approach the situation with safety, identifying the symptoms, putting knowledge into action and treating the victim with proper first aid skills.

Student Invention
Students will be asked to create a new sport Students will be allowed to demonstrate this sport in a multitude of ways including but not limited to PowerPoints, drawings and descriptive writting. The students must include a paper explaining in detail how this invention will work, be tested, and the benefits to mankind.
