1 rubric 3 Types of Government Graphic Organizer       popup preview
It is important that we understand the 3 types of government we have in America (Federal, State, and Local). To ensure that you all understand the 3 types and the branches and positions of each, we are going to complete a graphic organizer. Use what you have learned about the different types to create an analogy of our different governments. Make sure that you have each of these things represented, citizens, constitution, federal, state and local branches, and positions in each branch.

2 rubric From Antebellum to Reconstruction       popup preview
One objective for your learning this year is that you understand the difference between the Antebellum, Civil War, and Reconstruction time periods. To simplify this process I would like for you to draw three separate pictures of plantation houses. Each house should represent the look they would have had during the time period being depicted. Remember our movie, Gone with the Wind, what did the plantation house look like at the Bar-B-Que? What did it look like when Scarlet returned after Sherman burned Atlanta? What did it look like after she had her daughter? Lastly, write a paragraph for each picture describing how it differed from the others
