Hi Students.

Please remember your practical in-class test scheduled for this (3rd) cycle. 

Group 7 your test shall be on day 3, Tuesday, 28th January 2014 and Group 9 on day 4 which shall be on Wednesday, 29th January 2014.

The topics shall be:

• Manuscript signs and symbols along with abbreviations and acronyms
• Microsoft Word - Multi-column documents, setting tabs, borders and shading, Adding Backrounds (colours, images and watermarks), Inserting and manipulating images, inserting non-keyboard symbols.

Emphasis would be on manuscripts but any of the features listed in the second point above may be incorporated.

SBA Components 2, 3, 4 (referred to as Assignments 1, 2 and 3)

Hi Form 5s

Please note that your 2nd, 3rd and 4th SBA components are not being administered.  The 2nd which is referred to as Assignment 1, shall be done in class during your lab lesson.  The other 2, assignments 2 and 3 should be collected from me.

Assignment 2 should be completed in one (1) week and the deadline for handing in is

05th March 2014.  Assignment 3 should be completed in two weeks and the submission deadline is 10th March 2014.

Form 5s, I hope that you guys are have been working on your SBA.  Remember that your portfolios are due on 24th February, 2014.

Sample elements of the portfolio have been been uploaded to the online notes container which is accessible on this site.  There are different components for groups 7 and 9 so please access the material from the appropriate group.
