In Critical Care NURS 4330 we were given organizational sheets to list all assignments that must be completed each clinical day. Being organized is very important with any patient but especially with critical patients. It is important that each medicaiton is given on time as to not get behind when you have several patients. It is very easy to make mistakes once you get in a hurry because you are off schedule. Turning patients that are immobile is very important to prevent breakdown. I used this chart to remind me of tasks that needed to be completed each hour. At the beginning of each morning I would place a check mark that corresponded to the time and activity that must be completed at that time. This chart helped me improve my organizational skills and keep all information at easy access in case of an emergency.
