Nursing Theory

Throughout my Nursing school experience, I have realized that religion and spirituality is an important aspect of patient care.  It is imperative that nurses address spirituality issues with their patients.  Research has shown that a patient's quality of life can be improved when their spiritual needs are met.

During my Spring 2007 semester, I completed a group project with two other classmates that addressed the issue of spirituality in nursing practice.  It included facts about spirituality related to patients in the medical field as well as evidence based studies that proved the importance of spirituality during patient care.
