Patient Care is defined in as care planned to address all oral and dental needs of a patient based on thorough diagnosis and treatment planning. This applies to me as a Riverside Community College Dental Hygiene student because I will be seeing patients on a regular basis and will need to educate them on our policies and procedures and how the RCC facility operates, I will then be able to carry this out into real office settings once I have graduated.All patients will also need to be informed that in order to be a patient at RCC they must also seek treatment with appropriate referrals to dentists and specialists.
