This class will be in two sections, Understanding Music and Listening to Music.  There will be lots of reading, writing and listening, so don't worry if you can't sing or play an instrument... I will not be grading your talent!  We will have many discussions so don't be afraid to voice your opinion.  Hopefully by the end of the year you will be very knowledgable of various music genres, composers, styles and eras.  You will be amazed at how much you can learn in this class... it will be both interesting and fun!
