Hi There!
My name is Tinaye Manyimo and I am from Zimbabwe. And as my header says one of my major goals in life is to dream the impossible and make it happen. My career objective is to secure meaningful employment that will allow me to utilize my training, skills and communication abilities, while at the same time expanding and developing my skills to meet new challenges in the productive and economical business environment.
To complement my work experience I also have a number or affiliations with charitable organizations and various committees within and outside the university. I headed up a shinearma campaign at the university for the Canadian cystic fibrosis foundation (
CCFF), was primary liaison and volunteer in the planning and facilitation of the know the score program at my University which is promoted and funded by the
responsible gambling council of Canada. I have also been a volunteer for loaves and fishes, love Africa society, black organized student?s society, sexual diversity society and the business student?s society. Committees I have sat on include the Board of governors of Cape Breton University (2003-2005), Student Representative Council (
SRC), Academic council (AC).
Believe that all these various levels of involvment have made me more aware, alert, empathetic, analytical, and an overall better communicator. I want to go places and do big things, i love working with people and achieving goals and objectives. My end goal i s to have a business of my own but i know i still have a lot more room for growth, so stay posted!!
