Our mission is to create a safe, stimulating learning environment where students become inquisitive, confident learners who take responsibility for their own education which will enable them to make positive contributions to society
My Ideal Mission Statement for Hines Middle School:
The mission of the Hines Middle School counseling program is to promote and enhance the learning process and school experience for all students, and to support student achievement in the academic, career, and personal/social domains. The school counseling program at Hines Middle School is comprehensive, proactive, developmental, and reactive in nature. The program is also collaborative, involving educators, parents/guardians, and community members. School counselors will provide all students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become successful students and citizens. Through individual counseling and planning, small group counseling, classroom guidance, consultation, and conflict resolution, school counselors will maximize student potential and facilitate a school climate that is conducive to learning and enjoyable for all students.
