ODE Rubric ODE Rubric Students will use this rubric to ensure that their ODE poems are written using the the required characterics. This ODE will be dedicated to the Atmosphere. Praise Poem praises some part of the Atmosphere.	Clear Evidence Student expresses praise for one subject and the subject(s) are clearly defined. There is a clear theme that keeps the poem on track	Partial Evidence One subject is stated but not well developed. Theme is addressed but poem loses focus and is not constant in the poem	No Evidence Subject is not expressed clearly. Theme is not present	SCORE No evidence.
Authors Feeling's Writer's feelings are expressed.	Clear Evidence The reason and impact of the subject on the writer is clearly understood and expressed	Partial Evidence The reason or impact of the subject on the writer is mentioned, but not clearly expressed and developed	No Evidence There is little or no reason nor impact.	SCORE No evidence
Scientifc Facts States scientific facts about the atmosphere.	Clear Evidence At least five scientific facts are evident.	Partial Evidence At least four to five facts are scientific evident.	No Evidence At least two to three scientific facts are evident.	SCORE No more than one to two scientific facts are listed.
Figurative Language	Clear Evidence There are three or more examples of Figurative Language including Metaphors, Similes, Imagery, Symbols, descriptive words etc.	Partial Evidence Only two elements of Figurative Language is evident.
