Identification of proper equation	Poor Student can not identify correct equation to solve problem or can not recall equation	Fair Student does not correctly recall all parts of equation	Good Equation is correctly identified
Use of equation	Poor Student does not now where to put given values into equation to find unknown	Fair Student is able to identify and enter only some correct values.	Good Student correctly enters all given values into equation
Obtaining the correct answer	Poor Student shows little or no work and is unable to determine the correct answer	Fair Student shows all work but basic math calculation errors are made resulting in wrong final answer	Good Student shows all work and obtains the correct answer.
