Zoo Animals Project Zoo Animals Project After students have visited the Zoo,and observed their favorite animal from the field trip. Students have already researched the animals habitat, food, their basic needs and the dangers they face. They will create a poster or make a power point presentation of the animal and include a picture, description of the animal, where they live, what they eat, basic needs, and any facts they find interesting. Creativity	Poor Student shows no effort in poster.	Fair Student does minimal effort on the poster with little pictures and facts.	Good Student created a colorful poster with lots of details and most of the facts. The poster/ power point slides are eye catching, interesting and engaging	Excellent Student created a colorful poster with lots of details and all the facts. The poster/ power point slides are eye catching, interesting.engaging with smooth transition
Presentation	Poor Student does not attempt	Fair Student does not speak clearly during presentation, does not look at the audience.	Good Student mostly speaks clearly and makes a fair amount of eye contact with the audience. Student knows most of the particulars about the animal. Student has been able to answer most of the questions.	Excellent Student speaks clearly during presentation and makes eye contact with the audience. Poster elements	Poor Student created a poster with very few of the elements recommended. he picture and the description is printed one or not complete. Good Student created a poster with a picture of the animal (in it's natural habitat) and described most of the animal's behavior and other elements required.	Excellent Student created poster with a picture of the animal (in it's natural habitat) and description, and with all of the elements included: habitat, food, basic needs, and facts.
Organization	Poor Student does not attempt	Fair Student does not have all sections present. No clear these.	Good Student has most sections present and theme is clear.	Excellent Student had all sections clear and a consistent theme.
