Throwing A Football Throwing A Football at a moving target Students will be evaluated on throwing a football. The students will be in groups of two with one football per group. Each student will throw the football to their partner 5 times and be evaluated on the following. 1) Ball at cheek level in good body posture 2) Step with opposite foot – 3) Eyes on the target – 4) Follow through – Rubric Code: VCA98B By jaredhoots Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: Physical Ed., Fitness Type: Exam Grade Levels: 6-8

	Outstanding 5 pts	Good 4 pts	Fair 2 pts	Poor 3 pts	Unsatisfactory 1 pts
Mechanics of the Throw	Outstanding -Student performs skill successfully while using all cues correctly without reminders	Good -Student performs skill using most cues taught with occassional reminders	Fair -Student performs skill using some cues taught with several reminders	Poor --Student performs skill with little or no cues performed appropriately	Unsatisfactory Student does not participate
Result of throw	Outstanding -Hit target five out of five times	Good -Hit target four out of five times	Fair -hit target three out of five times	Poor -hit target two out of five times	Unsatisfactory -Student does not participate
