Skit Peformance Rubric 
This rubric is designed for a Spanish II class presentation in which students will be performing and recording a skit in Spanish. The skit should be recorded and the script typed and turned in prior to the presentation. Character dialogue should enhance the story and clarify meaning for the audience. Students may opt to have a narrator. All lines are to be memorized and not read. Students should use vocabulary and sentence structures that their audience (their classmates) will understand.

Student presented an average demonstration of Spanish fluency. Student stumbled over words at times and confused lines two or less times. Student had to use note cards for lines.

Student presented an average to above average performance. Student had few to no issues with fluency.
Preparedness

Poor

Students used 0 props in their skit and/or props did not contribute to the performance. Lines were not memorized and group does not seemed prepared to present.
Fair

Group is somewhat prepared but it is clear that rehearsal is lacking. Students used very few props .
Good

Students used several props that contributed to the understanding of the performance and seemed mostly prepared.
Excellent

Students used many props that contributed to the performance making the skit very entertaining! Group has obviously rehearsed and all lines were memorized.
Creativity

Poor

The students presented little creativity in their skit.Students worked together poorly, skit was late, preparation was unorganized, and/or took away from the overall quality of the work
Fair

The student's presentation was a little creative, room for improvement.<BR>
Students worked together , skit was on time, preparation was unorganized, and/or took away from the overall quality of the work
Good

The student's presentation was creative and unique, however had room for improvement.<BR>
Students worked together with little or no problems, skit was on time, and/or organization was lacking but acceptable.
Excellent

The student's work was very creative and unique!
Content

Poor

Content requirements were not met. Students only had 1-2 lines each.
Fair

Some content requirements were met. 1-2 students carry the conversation with some grammatical errors.
Good

Almost all of the content requirements were met. Almost all parts are equal and very few grammatical errors.
Excellent

All of the content requirements were met. Each student has at least 5 lines with no grammatical errors.
