Book Report Project Book Report Project Your creating a News Flyer to talk about the book of your choice. You will need to include the following in your book report: Title of the book, author of the book, a summary of the book, a moral or lesson that you took from the story, vocabulary words that were new to you that were in the story, a rating section where you tell how many stars you gave the book and why, a picture of the book cover correctly citing the book, and your name. Book Report Project This is how your project will be graded.
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Attractiveness How the book report looks. The book report has lots of color, some graphics, and looks neat, organized and well thought out.	Poor The book report is plain. Minimal color, no graphics, and looks thrown together.	Fair The book report has some color, one graphic, and shows some organization and planning.	Good The book report has lots of color, is very pleasing to the eye, has more than one graphic, and shows careful thinking and planning.
Content The book report includes all necessary content: Title of the book, author of the book, a summary of the book, a moral or lesson that you took from the story, vocabulary words that were new to you that were in the story, a rating section where you tell how many stars you gave the book and why, a picture of the book cover correctly citing the book, and your name.	Poor There is minimal to none of the necessary content. The information is not present.	Fair There is some content that was required but still missing some of the required content. The information is a little confusing and doesn't flow well.	Good All necessary content is present and flows well together. The following is included: Title of the book, author of the book, a summary of the book, a moral or lesson that you took from the story, vocabulary words that were new to you that were in the story, a rating section where you tell how many stars you gave the book and why, a picture of the book cover correctly citing the book, and your name.
Effort Does the book report show that time and effort was invested into the project.	Poor There was none to very little effort put into the project. The project is incomplete.	Fair There was some effort towards to the project. The project is still lacking some key components to be considered finished.	Good The project shows that it was well thought out and had a lot of time and effort put into it.
