Shows interesting formations and patterns and flows with the music.	Wow. Demonstrates excellent creativity. Shows interesting formations and patterns and presents a story within the piece.
Technical skills	Needs Improvement Demonstrates little technique (ie. footwork, quality of movements, body positions) demonstrated in performance.	Meets Expectations Dance performed with attention to most details of technique: use of props to extend body movements	Wow. Dance performed with great attention to quality of movement, body position, and placement with respect to other group members. The use of props extends and emphasizes movement.
Performance Skills	Needs Improvement The dancers are generally focused, but only some attempt made to communicate with audience.	Meets Expectations The dancers perform with good energy and effort and usually communicate with each other and the audience through eye contact, facial and body expression.	Wow. The dancers create believable characters on stage and are able to engage the audience completely through their performance. They perform with excellent energy and effort.
