Metaphor/ Simile Quality Enter description	Good There are at least two sentences that clearly tell how the person is like the candy.	Fair There are at less than two sentences that clearly tell how the person is like the candy.
Descriptive Quality Enter description	Good Student has described their candy using at least two senses (smell, sight/appearance, taste, touch).	Fair Student has described their candy using less than two senses (smell, sight/appearance, taste, touch).
Conventions	Good Every sentence begins with a capital letter and ends with punctuation.	Fair Some sentences begins with a capital letter and ends with punctuation.
Candy Picture	Good A picture of the candy described in the poem has been included. The picture does not cover up any text of the poem.	Fair A picture of the candy has not been included. Or, there are pictures of candy that are not described in the poem. Or, the picture covers up text of the poem.
