Original Song/Dance You will create an original song or dance that relates to your story and perform it for the class. If you choose a song you must hand in the lyrics and if you choose a dance you must write a 5 to 7 sentence paragraph about how your dance relates the book you read. Poor The song/dance is not related to the book and the audience is unable to see/hear any connections to the text.
Creativity	Excellent The song/dance is completely original and it is clear that the performer put a great deal of time and effort into making it enjoyable for the audience.	Good The song/dance is original and the perform put a great deal of effort into the performance.	Fair The song/dance is somewhat original and there are signs of some effort within the performance.	Poor The song/dance is not original and does not captivate the audience due to lack of effort.
Performance	Excellent The student performed the song/dance with confidence and enthusiasm. It was clearly well rehearsed.
