Carnaval/Mardi Gras Project Carnaval/Mardi Gras Project Find five interesting facts about the history and activities at the Quebec Winter Carnaval ( www.carnaval.qc.ca ) and present them to the class. You may use drawings, posters, collages, oral and/or power point presentations. At least one of your facts should show a specific connection with French Canadian history and culture, a connection showing what it means to be French Canadian. You should also include a short paper detailing in written form the information you provide in the visual and oral presentation. Alternate project topic: research the famous Mardi Gras celebrations in either New Orleans, "Cajun" celebrations in southwestern Louisiana, or in Nice, France.
