Final Project For the final project this unit, the students are required to complete a product that they will then present to the class. The final product could be something they created by hand (i.e., a poster, a story,etc.)or a technology based product (i.e., a PowerPoint, a Prezi, a video,etc.). Accuracy Information is true and reliable 25 pts.	Wow! The information being presented is accurate for the time period being covered. 25 pts	Good Job! The information being presented is accurate for the time period with a few inconsistencies. 20 pts	Nice Effort! The information being presented is only accurate for a small number of points. The majority of the final product contains incorrect information. 12 pts	Okay... The information being presented is not accurate on any points. Non of the information in the final product is relevant to the topic. 8 pts
Sources Sources used are reliable and cited for verification 25 pts.	Wow! The sources used to access the information are cited correctly and are reliable. Also, the sources are relevant to the topic of the presentation. 25 pts	Good Job! The sources used to access the information may have a few citing mistakes but are still reliable. The sources may have some information that is not completely relevant to the topic. 20pts	Nice Effort! The sources used are not cited correctly except for a few and they are not all reliable. A low level of information taken from the sources is relevant to the topic. 12 pts	Okay... None of the sources are cited correctly and are not reliable. The information provided using the sources is not relevant to the topic. 8 pts
Time-Management Time given in class is used responsibly and wisely 10 pts.	Wow! Used time well and turned in a portion of the final product on time or early. 10 pts	Good Job! Each portion of the final product was turned in on time. At certain moments during work time was distracted and had to be reminded about work. 8 pts	Nice Effort! Missed a few of the turn in dates. Had to be monitored during work time so that final product would not be impacted. Struggled at the end of to finish and turn in the final product. 5 pts	Okay... Misused all work time given in class and did not turn in any portions of the final product when asked to. Product was not completed on time. 2 pts
Presentation Will present final product to the class with a brief overview of the information 20 pts.	Wow! The presentation is engaging and creative. The final product functions correctly and the presented information flows smoothly. 20 pts	Good Job! The presentation is engaging and creative. The final product functions correctly with a few hiccups and the presented information could flow smoother. 15 pts	Nice Effort! The presentation is creative but could be more engaging with the audience. The final product needs modified so that the information is clearly and easier to understand. 10 pts	Okay... The student did not present their final product. The product itself was full of incorrect information and poorly made. 5 pts
Creativity Student put their own ideas and spin on the product 20 pts.	Wow! The final product was creative and original from the examples shown in class. Clearly seen that effort was made on the product. 20 pts	Good Job! The final product was creative and followed the outline of an example but the information organization was original and interesting. 14 pts	Nice Effort! The final product closely resembled one of the examples shown in class. The information included was original but the layout and look matched the example. 6 pts	Okay... The final product was a copy of an example shown in class. The layout and information presented were copied exactly 0
Self-Assessment The student will fill out this portion of the rubric for themselves and grade their project and presentation 0 pts.	Wow! The final product and presentation went smoothly and included the information required. The layout was original, interesting, and engaging. Used class time wisely and finished the product neatly and creatively.	Good Job! The final product and presentation could have went smoother but the required information was included. The layout and organization of the information could have been more original. Class time could have been used more wisely but the product was finished neatly regardless.	Nice Effort! The final product and presentation was rough and there was missing information that was required. The layout could have been original. Class time was used poorly and impacted the final product.	Okay... The final product and presentation were not completed. The originality of what was completed of the final product was copied from an example shown in class. Class time was not used at all to work on the product or presentation.
