Choreography Project
	Poor 2 pts	Fair 3 pts	Good 4 pts	Excellent 5 pts
Choreography; creativity Use of levels, space, time, dynamics.	Poor Dancer does not demonstrate use of space; dance is one-level and too simple. NO recall of original piece can be identified.	Fair Dancer demonstrates a few levels but choreography is simple with little use of rhythmic patters. Recall of the original piece is not well integrated.	Good Choreography shows a good deal of levels and rhythms but does not show complete understanding of rhythmic patterning, use of time and space. Original movement/concept is well used.	Excellent Choreography is complete with many levels, rhythmic patterns and uses space in a way that enhances entire performance. Dancer(s) integrate the original movement/concept very well into the piece.
Focus/Energy	Poor Dancer fails to stay focused, lacks concentration and puts forth little effort.	Fair Dancer appears somewhat focused yet performs with little energy.	Good Dancer performs exercise by staying focused and utilizes strength and energy.	Excellent Dancer performs exercise fully focused and demonstrates with ease and concentration.
Overall Performance	Poor Dancer doesn't appear to have understood concept of the assignment.	Fair Dancers demonstrates a weak movement phrase. Was not well planned or rehearsed.	Good Dancer appears to be well rehearsed and gives a good performance. Characterization was demonstrated but not quite developed.	Excellent Dancer appears well rehearsed and gives a strong performance where the audience is moved with emotion.
Is this piece Stage Ready?	Poor Piece is 30-59% stage ready.	Fair Piece is 60-79% stage ready.	Good Piece is 80-89% stage ready.	Excellent Piece is 90-100% stage ready!
