Organization and Relevance 15	Poor Reader/observer has difficulty understanding topical information because bulletin board displays no logic or sequence of the information; content is not relevant for middle level.	Fair Reader/observer has difficulty understanding topical information because bulletin board displays little logic or sequence of the information; content relevance to middle level attempted.	Good Board presents topical information in logical sequence which reader/observer can follow; content somewhat relevance to middle level.	Excellent Board presents topical information in logical, interesting sequence which reader/observer can follow; content relevant to middle level.
Theme 50	Poor Some or several of the requirements are missing and that which is present is basic, inaccurate, shallow or entirely cut and paste from another source.	Fair Some of the requirements (no more than 2) are not present and the depth of the information is missing.	Good It does address all of the required information although it may not be quite as elaborate as required in order to get an "excellent."	Excellent Includes elaborate information about the required topics: setting, themes, motifs, characters, playwright, quotes, kind of play, and what it was like in America during this time. It may even go above and beyond this.
Graphics 10	Poor Graphics are inappropriate, superfluous or there are no graphics.	Fair Graphics are somewhat appropriate and give little support to topical information.	Good Graphics are appropriate for public display and relate to topical information.	Excellent Graphics are appropriate for public display. explain and reinforce topical information of the theme.

Good The board is attractive in terms of design layout and neatness.	Excellent The board is exceptionally attractive in terms of design, layout, and neatness.
Mechanics 10	Poor Bulletin Board has four or more spelling errors and/or grammatical errors.	Fair Bulletin Board has three misspellings and/or grammatical errors.	Good Bulletin Board has no more than two misspellings and/or grammatical errors.	Excellent Bulletin Board has no misspellings or grammatical errors.
