Placement/Alignment	Unacceptable Dancer almost never shows proper placement of feet, knees, back and arms throughout exercise.	Developing Dancer rarely shows proper placement of feet, knees, back and arms throughout exercise.	Proficient Dancer mostly shows proper placement of feet, knees, back and arms throughout exercise.	Exemplary Dancer shows proper placement of feet, knees, back and arms throughout entire exercise.
Balance/Spotting	Unacceptable Dancer is not able to demonstrate the concept of spotting at all. Dancer shows no sense of strength and balance.	Developing Dancer shows very little attempt to spot and focus. Falls off balance often.	Proficient Dancer is able to execute proper use of spot and focus. Balance is sufficient and dancer shows strength of the supporting leg .	Exemplary Dancer shows a strong snapping of the head action and has achieved strong balance of the supporting leg.
Focus/Effort	Unacceptable Dancer doesn't perform with any effort and appears to be very unfocused.	Developing Dancer demonstrates exercise with little effort.	Proficient Dancer appears focused and performs with a good amount of effort.	Exemplary Dancer performs exercise with true energy and effort.
