Rubric for "Me gusta(n) / Me encanta(n)" Project Writing Rubric for Cultural Effects of Franco's Regime Students write 12 sentences: 6 using the grammar point "I like..." and/or "I love..." with a verb and 6 using the same grammar point with singular and plural nouns. The students may make any of the sentences negative (e.g. I don't like to ...) Each sentence must be illustrated with a drawing or picture (e.g. cut from a magazine). Content	Excellent Content is well organized and complete. Student followed all instructions.	Good Presentation is generally logical. Student followed most of the instructions.	Average Presentation is somewhat illogical and confusing in places. Information on topic lacking. Student did not follow most of the instructions.	Poor Poorly organized. Incomplete coverage of topic.
Comprehensibility	Excellent Reader can always understand what the writer is trying to communicate. Correct use of Spanish vocabulary and idioms.	Good Reader can understand most of what the writer is trying to communicate. Mostly correct use of Spanish vocabulary and idioms.	Average Reader can understand less than half of what writer is trying to communicate. Incorrect use of Spanish vocabulary.	Poor Incomprehensible throughout.
Accuracy FCA	Excellent Writer uses grammar point correctly.	Good Writer usually uses grammar point correctly.	Average Writer makes frequent mistakes with grammar point.	Poor Writer uses grammar point incorrectly throughout.
General Accuracy	Excellent Writer uses correct grammar, word order, spelling and punctuation.	Good Writer usually uses correct grammar, word order, spelling and punctuation.	Average Writer makes frequent mistakes with grammar, word order, spelling and punctuation.	Poor Writer consistently makes errors with grammar, word order, spelling and punctuation.
Effort & Creativity	Excellent Writer fulfills the requirements of the assignment and has put care, creativity and effort into the process.	Good Writer fulfills all of the requirements of the assignment. Quite creative.	Average Writer fulfills some of the requirements of the assignment. Not very creative. Not much effort.
