Starting Position	Beginning Student does not bend knees or hold jump rope correctly at all. Completed 1 or 2/5 jumps.	Developing Student bends knees and holds jump rope correctly some of the time. Completed 3/5 jumps.	Proficient Student bends knees and holds jump rope correctly most of the time. Completed 4/5 jumps.	Excellent Student bends knees and holds jump rope correctly all of the time. Completed 5/5 jumps.
Jump Rope mechanics	Beginning Student does not have their head up, jump rope is not close to the body, and does not take off or land on 2 feet at all. Completed 1 or 2/5 jumps.	Developing Student has their head up, jump rope close to body, and takes off and lands with 2 feet some of the time. Completed 3/5 jumps.	Proficient Student has their head up, jump rope close to body, and takes off and lands with 2 feet most of the time. Completed 4/5 jumps.	Excellent Student had their head up, jump rope close to body, and takes off and lands with 2 feet all of the time. Completed 5/5 jumps.
