Group Presentation Rubric Group Presentation Rubric This rubric is designed to assess the presentation of the group activity. The rubric should consider the performance of the group as a whole, as well as individual contributions. 	Excellent 5 pts	Good 4 pts	Fair 2 pts	Poor 1 pts
Organization	Excellent Presentation was very organized and was easy to follow. Transitions between group members were well planned and executed cleanly.	Good Presentation was fairly organized and easy to follow. Transitions could be improved, but did not greatly detract from the overall presentation.	Fair Presentation was not clearly organized. Transitions between members were jumpy or awkward.	Poor Presentation lacked organization. Poor transitions between group members individual parts.
Teamwork/Participation	Excellent The group worked very well with each other and the presentation was shared equally among the group members.	Good The group worked well with each other and communicated well. Some members participated slightly more than others.	Fair Group communicated relatively well; some students dominated the presentation and others did not participate as much.	Poor Group did not work well together. There were obvious miscommunications and lapses in the presentation.
Content	Excellent Group members effectively demonstrated strong knowledge of the content. All required criteria were present.	Good The majority of group members had a solid understanding of the content. Content missing minor elements or contained minor errors.	Fair Group members had only a superficial understanding of content. One or more required criteria were missing.	Poor Group members had little to no understanding of the content addressed in the presentation. Much of the required content was missing.
Visual Aid(s)	Excellent Visual aids were used effectively throughout presentation.	Good Visual aids used were somewhat effective.	Fair Visual aids used did not effectively support verbal presentation.	Poor Visual aids were not used at all.
Time Management	Excellent Presentation length met or slightly exceeded the time requirement specified.	Good Presentation length was within 30 seconds of meeting the time requirement specified.	Fair Presentation length exceeded 1 minute, but did not meet the time requirement specified.	Poor Total presentation length was less than 1 minute -or- greater than 10 minutes.
