The presentation contains an introduction, body, and conclusion. The introduction catches the attention of the audience, the body is complete without straying from the topic, and the conclusion sums up the major points of the presentation.

The words of the student are spoken in a non-confident way. The volume, pitch, and emphasis are lacking. The words are spoken in an unclear manner.
Fair
The words of the student are at times unclear. This could be caused by a lack of volume. The presentation has very little expression throughout the piece.
Good
The words of the student are at some times unclear. This could be caused by a lack of volume or preparation. The presentation has some expression in parts of the piece.
Excellent
The words of the student are spoken clearly, confidently, with proper pitch, volume, emotion, and emphasis.
Body Control
Poor
The speaker's body posture is poor. The speaker's eye contact is lacking. The presentation lacks changes in facial expression and gestures which demonstrate the emotion of the piece.
Fair
The general posture of the presenter is fair. However, the presenter loses eye contact with the audience and does not take advantage of facial expression or gestures that could be included in the piece.
Good
The general posture of the presenter is good. However, the presenter loses eye contact with the audience or takes little advantage of facial expression or gestures that could be included in the piece.
Excellent
The student demonstrates proper posture during the presentation. The student maintains eye contact with the audience. The facial expression and gestures are in agreement with the piece.
Attitude
Poor
The speaker lacks knowledge, interest, and understanding of the topic.
Fair
While the speaker may be interested in the topic, he/she does not demonstrate a knowledge of and an enthusiasm for the topic. The presentation is done in a very unprofessional way. Much informal language is heard during the presentation.
Good
The speaker demonstrates an interest in the topic. He/she has knowledge on the topic, but conducts themselves in an unprofessional manner. Formal language is used for the majority of the piece.
Excellent
The speaker demonstrates an interest in the topic of the presentation. The speaker demonstrates confidence in his/her knowledge of the material. The speaker presents in a professional manner. Formal language is heard through the entire piece.
Time
Poor
The time for the presentation was either under 2:30 or over 5:30.
Fair
The time fell into the range of the following:
2:30-2:44
5:16-5:30
Good
The time fell into the range of the following:
2:45-2:59
5:01-5:15
Excellent
The time for the presentation fell between the required times of 3:00 and 5:00.
