Relevance	Proficient The student's notes contain highly detailed notes that provide a clear picture of the area studied. Students have described the who, what, when, where, why and how.	Advanced The student notes contain mostly detailed notes that provide a picture of the area studied. Students are able to mostly answer the who, what, when, where, why and how.	Needs Improvement The students notes are missing some important information that relates to the area studied. Students answer some of the who, what, when, where, why and how.	Warning The students notes do not contain detailed notes and do not provide a clear picture of the area studied. Students cannot describe the who, what, when, where, why and how.
Comprehension	Proficient The students can define all words in the notes	Advanced The student can explain most of the words and ideas in the notes and knows further information.	Needs Improvement The student has copied the notes from book/teacher and does not understand them.	Warning Student cannot comprehend any material.
Organization	Proficient Students notes are organized in a way that captures the main ideas and any important supporting ideas. In addition, the format of the students notes make it easy to see relationship among the information	Advanced Students notes are organized in a way that captures the main ideas and any supporting ideas.
