Poor

Student knees aren't bent and back is not align with shoulder. Arms are not bent 90 degrees
Fair

Knees are bent back is semi straight and align with shoulder. Arms are bent 45 degrees

Knees are bent, back and shoulder are align. Arms are at 90 degrees.

Knees are bent, back and shoulder are align. Arms are at 90 degrees and knows the difference between a square and stagger stance.
Double Leg Take Down

Poor

Leads with his head not with his arms, does not bend his knees while driving towards partners legs.
Fair

Leading with arms, legs are bent while leading towards the partners legs. Drives through and finishes takedown but ends up on side.
Good

Legs are bent while and changes levels of his body as he leans toward partners legs, leading with both arms.

Finishes takedown in proper position with belly down and control over opponent.
Top Referees Position

Poor

On top student does not place hands on partners elbow and feet are in between partners legs.

On top and bottom student hands are the proper place. Hands are on the elbow and feet are behind the legs. Hand not on belly button.
Good

On top and bottom student is ready to wrestle by having every aspect of the position in place hands on elbow, feet are behind the legs. Chin is behind the back of the the opponent.

Top person has hand on elbow, hand on belly button, chin in middle of back, left knee next to opponent right knee and right foot behind opponent's feet.
Bottom Referee's Position

Student does not sit back on heels, have slightly bent elbows, or have hands in correct position.
Fair

Student knees and hands are correct but elbows are not bent and not sitting back on heels.
Good

Student knees and hands are correct, elbows are bent and sitting on heels, but head is not up and ready to spring up.
Excellent

Student knees and hands are correct, elbows are bent and sitting on heels and head is up ready to spring out on the whistle.
Hand Fight

Poor

Has problems controlling opponent and can't gain control of wrists for collar ties.
Fair

Can control wrists or collar temporarily.
Good

Controls wrist and collar ties, but is not able to move opponent consistently.
Excellent

Controls wrist and collar ties and moves opponent consistently.
