Manipulative Skills Assessment Manipulative Skills Assessment Kindergarten students will be assessed on their manipulative skills. Throwing, Kicking, Catching, Striking and playing catch with a partner are the main categories. Students will receive a pretest and cumulative test. Manipulative Skills Assessment
	WOOHOO! 3 pts	Good Job! 2 pts	Needs Work. 1 pts
Throwing	WOOHOO! Correct opposite foot and hand. Can hit a target placed at 10 feet.	Good Job! Correct opposite foot and hand. Did not hit target at 10 feet.	Needs Work. Did not throw with opposite foot and hand.
Kicking	WOOHOO! Can consistently kick a ball without missing. Can kick a ball towards a target with good accuracy	Good Job! Can kick a ball but misses sometimes. Has trouble kicking a ball towards a target with accuracy.	Needs Work. Has difficulty kicking a ball.
Striking	WOOHOO! Can consistently strike a Gator Skin ball with a Pillow Polo Stick.	Good Job! Can consistently strike with Pillow Polo stick but not with both.	Needs Work. Has difficulty striking and object with either hand or Pillow Polo stick.
Catching	WOOHOO! Can consistently catch a Gator Skin Ball without dropping or flinching.	Good Job! Can consistently catch a Gator Skin ball without dropping but flinches when ball is thrown to them.	Needs Work. Has difficulty catching the ball.
Throw & Catch with Partner.	WOOHOO! Can consistently play catch with a partner without dropping the Gator Skin.	Good Job! Can play catch with a partner but has trouble keeping the ball off of the ground.	Needs Work. Has difficulty playing catch with a partner.
