Fair Uses manipulatives to represent numbers, but does not know what number the the manipulatives are supposed to represent.	Good Uses manipulatives to represent numbers, sets up one-to-one comparisons using manipulatives, and understands what number the manipulatives represent in each group.
More and Less comparisons	Poor Does not successfully create any more and less comparisons.	Fair Successfully creates more and less comparisons, but can not explain why it was correct.	Good Successfully creates more and less comparisons, and can explain what numbers the manipulatives represent and how their comparison is correct.
