Most of the sentences were complete. There were still several sentences that were underdeveloped. There were several areas that were hard to understand.

There were a few errors in the sentences. All of your sentences were complete, but very few were underdeveloped.

Your words, phrases, and sentences were ALL complete. Each sentence supported the other and you had smooth transitions between your thoughts.

Did not use time well. Time was wasted during the assignment.
Fair

Sometimes used time well. There were times when the teacher had to remind you to stay on task during the assignment.
Good

Good use of time, there were a few times off task, but for the majority of the task time was well spent.
Excellent

Great use of time. You made excellent use of your time during the writing assignment.

This section grades on whether the weekly skill and/or genre is addressed in the writing.

Poor

The writing selection did not align to the weekly skill or genre.
Fair

The writing somewhat followed along with the weekly skill and/or genre. There were numerous parts that did not incorporate the correct skill.
Good

The writing aligned well with the weekly skill and/or genre. It was a little off topic, but for the most part it was consistent to the skill.
Excellent

Excellent alignment between the writing and the weekly skill and/or genre.
