4th Grade Reading
	Low 1 pts	Medium 2 pts	High 3 pts
Oral Reading	Low Struggles. Uses finger to follow along. Needs help with very basic one syllable words. Reads in monotone. Mumbles.	Medium Occassionally struggles. Does not use their finger to follow along. Needs help with longer words. Reads with some inflection.	High Reads clearly & loudly with inflection. Only needs help with multi-syllable words beyond 4th grade level.
Comprehension	Low Reads a paragraph and is unable to describe what he/she has just read.	Medium Reads a paragraph and can describe what he/she has just read with some prompting.	High Reads a paragraph and needs no help in describing what he/she has just read.
Application	Low Answers below 60% of written questions on read materials correctly.	Medium Answers between 60%-85% of written questions on read materials correctly.	High Answers between 85%-100% of written questions on read materials correctly.
