HOMEWORK COMPLETION How much of the homework did I do?	Level 1 Less than 1/2 of the homework was completed.	Level 2 At least 1/2 of the homework was completed.	Level 3 3/4 of the homework was completed.	Level 4 The entire homework was completed.
ACCURACY How much of the homework did I do right?	Level 1 Less than 1/2 of the homework was done correctly.	Level 2 At least 1/2 of the homework was done correctly.	Level 3 3/4 of the homework was done correctly.	Level 4 The entire homework was done correctly.
REQUIREMENTS Did I do everything I could to help myself?	Level 1 I didn't read and or understand the text and I didn't highlight or take any notes on my own.	Level 2 I read the text. I tried to highlight the text and understand the reading.	Level 3 I read the text and I added some notes into my Science notebook.	Level 4 I read the text and took independent notes to help myself understand and remember important info.
NEATNESS AND SPELLING Can my work pass the stranger test?	Level 1 Too many spelling errors (more than 2) and no coherent thought process to my writing.	Level 2 A few errors. Some but not all of the writing reflects a coherent thought process.	Level 3 No errors. Writing mostly illustrates the student tried to answer questions completely.	Level 4 Very well done. Answers are well constructed and demonstrate time was given when considering and writing answers.
