Participation	No Attempt at Mastery Few group members did not participate in the activity at all.	Basic Some group members was slow to participate in the activity. Only participated 50% of class time.	Intermediate Most group members participated in the activity for 75% of class time.	Mastery All group members were constantly active and participated in the activity for 90% or more of class time.
Cooperation	No Attempt at Mastery Group members did not follow directions and rules. Student argued with classmates or teacher concerning the task. Did not assist other students.	Basic Few group members followed directions and rules 50% of class time. Occasionally argued with others concerning the task. Student was not able to assist other students, although the attempt was made.	Intermediate Most group members followed directions and rules for the majority of class. He/she did not argue with others concerning the task, and when asked, assisted other students.	Mastery All group members followed directions and rules for the entire class time. Student shared his/her creative ideas and encouraged other students.
Follow Directions	No Attempt at Mastery Group members were unable to follow directions due to being off task or unwillingness to work. Even when redirected, student did not read the directions.	Basic Few group members followed the directions, but only minimally. Student did not consistently read the directions in order to understand the task.	Intermediate Most group members completely followed all directions. When confused, student asked teacher for help in understanding the task.	Mastery All group members followed all directions using a creative and thoughtful approach. When confused, student re-read the directions in order to understand the task.
Content	No Attempt at Mastery Poster was not completed to required standards, lacking content and visual quality.	Basic Poster was completed with some of the required information and with unsatisfactory visual quality.	Intermediate Poster was completed with most of the required information and with satisfactory visual quality.	Mastery Poster was completed with required information with above and beyond required visual quality.
