Pitches are well centered and in tune. A desirable tone quality that is appropriate to the music being performed is produced throughout the performance.
Excellent - 4

Pitches are in tune and centered. A desirable tone quality is produced for most of the piece.
Good - 3

Some notes are out of tune. Pitches are occassionally not centered properly. Tone quality is average.
Fair - 2

Some notes are out of tune. Pitches are occasionally not centered properly. Tone quality is kind of harsh.
Poor - 1

Many notes are out of tune and not centered. Tone quality is poor.
Stage Presence

Student performs with correct posture and is professional in their conduct. Interests the audience with facial expressions and spirit
Excellent - 4

Student has minor issues with posture. Student needs a slight improvement in professionalism (reacting to mistakes, giggling in performance, etc.)
Good - 3

Student has issues with posture or lacks facial emotions. Student needs need to improve in professionalism (reacting to mistakes, giggling in performance, etc.)

Student needs large improvement in posture. Student shows major lapses in judgment in professionalism.

Posture and attitude is unacceptable. Looks away constantly etc.
Choreography

Superior - 5

Student performs with little or no mistakes. Creative and flows through with relative body language (top 10%)
Excellent - 4

Student performs with minor mistakes. Shows some creativity in their movement (top 20%)
Good - 3

Students makes mistakes, He/She shows effort however, lacks preparation
Fair - 2

Student makes quite a few mistakes. Shows effort but no creativity. Is uninteresting to look at
Poor - 1

Performance is unacceptable and/or student makes no effort to attempt choreography.
Overall Performance

Superior - 5

Excellent performance vocally and choreography.
Excellent - 4

Good vocals and some minor choreographic issues.
Good - 3

Average vocals and average choreography issues.

Both vocals and choreography need work.
Poor - 1

Work needed in both vocals and choreography. Shows either a lack of showmanship or skill necessary for a show choir
