7th Grade Honors PSA Script Rubric 
Rubric for PSA project. In the PSA script, students are to raise awareness for the issue by briefly describing the issue, and providing relevant and accurate facts, and encouraging viewers to take positive action concerning the issue.

Does Not Meet the Standard

No part of script is ready on time. Student did very little to assist in writing process.
Organization of material

Exceeds the Standard

Script is well organized and tells a story that is easy for the viewer to follow. Tone is compelling enough to make the viewer take this seriously.
Meets the Standard

Script shows some organization, but may leave the viewer with questions. Tone may be just shy of convincing.
Partially Meets the Standard

Script is a collection of facts that do not tell a story. Viewer is not sure of the point OR tone is shallow. Material is incomplete and the purpose of the PSA may be unclear.
Does Not Meet the Standard

Script shows no organization of material. PSA makes no sense. Incomplete statements make the purpose unclear.
