In-Depth Research & Comparsion Character Analysis	FANTASTIC Skillfully uses symbols that represent and illustrate characters in the novel. Shows tremendous insight into each person's character analysis.	PRETTY SWAG Covers character analysis well but lacks in critical thinking comparisons of characters.	OMG BASIC Valid content but little more analysis is needed. Insufficient analysis.	TOTALLY NOT COOL Needs more information. No character development and theme analysis.
Puritan Values Comparison between Puritan Values and Today's Values	FANTASTIC Clear understanding of complex concepts of shame, harassment and public humiliation during Puritan times and today.	PRETTY SWAG Unclear understanding of the Puritan Period Values compared to today's modern.	OMG BASIC Student connections were off. Did not support with evidence and examples.	TOTALLY NOT COOL Student not able to make the connection between Hester and their chosen modern person of today.
Technology Venue Project will be presented through a creative and detailed analysis by tech.	FANTASTIC Technology venue is extremely creative and organized and reflects the 21st century technology standards.	PRETTY SWAG Technology venue is good but information is insufficient.	OMG BASIC Technology venue is lacking in creativity, clarity and development.	TOTALLY NOT COOL Students did not use a technology venue for their project. They wrote a paper.
Presentation Engaging and Memorable	FANTASTIC Passion in students voice, clear and competent. Interesting and interactive with the audience.	PRETTY SWAG Passion in voice is not present all of the time. Lacking in Presentation skills.	OMG BASIC Lacking in overall organizational and presentation skills. No graphics.	TOTALLY NOT COOL NO passion in presentation! Poor eye contact, graphics, understanding of information and students mumbles.
