Comprehension	Poor Poor Student did not complete assignment and/or did not answer more than half of questions correctly.	Fair Fair Student answered at least half of the comprehension questions correctly.	Good Good Student answered 75% of comprehension questions correctly. Student comprehends main idea of the reading.	Excellent Excellent Student answered all (100%)comprehension questions correctly. Student fully demonstrates comprehension of main idea from the reading.
Subject Knowledge	Poor Poor Student does not have grasp of information; student cannot answer questions about subject.	Fair Fair Student is uncomfortable with information and is able to answer only rudimentary questions.	Good Good Student is at ease with expected answers to all questions, but fails to elaborate.	Excellent Excellent Student demonstrates full knowledge (more than required) by answering all class questions with explanations and elaboration.

Textual details are relevant and student has connected fully with the subject.
