Number Story Rubric 
This rubric is a summative assessment of a beginning number sense unit in a Kindergarten classroom. It focuses on students' understanding, representation, and communication of solving number stories. Given a story problem, the student will choose the appropriate process, use manipulatives to illustrate reasoning, and explain the solution using math language.
