Proficient Shows understanding of the scientific method by including information that will solve the problem.	Developing Shows limited understanding of the scientific method because not all information written was complete or missing and then did not solve the problem.	Unsatisfactory Shows basic understanding because not all steps were completed or were missing information.
Safety Rules 4 pts Show understanding of student playground safety.	Exceeds All rules show advanced understanding of safety as well as understanding for all age levels. 4 rules are present.	Proficient Rules show knowledge of playground safety. Many age children can understand them. 3 rules are present	Developing Rules show some knowledge of playground safety. Limited understanding by many age groups. 2 rules are present	Unsatisfactory Rules are basic in information about playground safety. Understood by few students. 1 rule present
