iRubric: Montessori Project Grading Rubric

The project develops the primary objective/approach for an Montessori teaching model. Student has listed 4-6 examples for their approach and provided specific examples on how they will use their Montessori approach in their project. Examples: Centers, Modeling, socialization, and opportunities for children to work freely on their own.

Student developed an objective/approach for their Montessori environment approach, but only used 1 example stating their reasoning behind it.

Student developed an objective/approach for their Montessori environment, but didn't use any examples explaining how they will use it.

Student did not develop an primary objective/approach for their project.

The project clearly gives reasons of how the Montessori model is incorporated inside the classroom. Ex: Groups, Self-directed activities, hands-on learning, and models providing advantages.

The project is clearly given reasons of the Montessori model, but not enough reasoning clearly stating how to incorporate ways into the learning environment.
