Preparation	Poor The student does not have a list of questions and is not prepared.	Fair The student has a list of questions, but it is not rehearsed and the student is not prepared.	Good The student has a list of questions that is well-rehearsed and the student is prepared.
Language	Poor The student did not speak Mandarin	Fair Some parts of the conversation were in Mandarin but some were not.	Good The student spoke clearly in Mandarin
Relevance	Poor The student went off on many tangeants or did not talk about the list of questions.	Fair The student stayed on topic most of the time and usually brought the conversation back to the list of questions.	Good The entire conversation was about the list of questions
Time	Poor The conversation was less than one minute.	Fair The conversation was between one and two minutes.	Good The conversation was between two and four minutes.
