Alternate Ending to Of Mice and Men
Use this rubric to REWRITE the ending to Of Mice & Men, include these literary devices: diction, parallelism, sentimentalism, & foreshadowing. Maintain Steinbeck's style of writing, so the new ending begins where George meets up with Lennie on pg. 98 & could seamlessly replace the current ending. Rough drafts are due the beginning of next class Mon/Tues (4/21, 4/22) & are worth 6 pts of the possible 30 pts for the assignment. Final drafts are due the beginning of class Wed/Thurs (4/23, 4/24).
