Adeficiency in academic achievement either as indicated by scores 2.0 or more SD below the mean in formal measures of language, reading, and math, or a body of evidence of informal measures when it is determined that reliable and valid assessments are not possible due to the student's functioning level. The assessment used is Woodcock Johnson III Test of Cognitive Abilities.
This assessment is also done on an individual base is can be assess and diagnosis by licensed professional physicians/pediatricians, psychiatrist, neurologist, and geneticist, and all differs for different conditions.Many test have been developed one include force matching tasks where and individual is instructed to match a reference force applied to a finger with the same or different finger. Other assessments include PDMS "The Peabody Developmental Scales
The Peabody Developmental Scales are used here also but not just limited to this assessment. Students with intellectual disability with low gross motor skills, require additional fundamental motor skill training in their active school or free time.
