	Poor Meets none of the requirements 0 pts	Fair Has some of the requirements 2 pts	Good Meets or exceeds the requirements 4 pts
History pts Give details of struggles taking place and show beliefe's of that culture.	Poor There is no settings or dates.	Fair Contains only one setting and one date.	Good Has 2 or more dates and includes at least 2 settings.
Clear Speakers pts Allows character development and growth for the story	Poor No name or context clues on who the speaker is.	Fair Speaker is never announced in the chapter, but has context clues that allow reader to hypothesize.	Good Name of speaker is mentioned atleast once in the chapter.
Conflict pts Allows the character to devolpe and change.	Poor No conflict	Fair Has one unexplained conflict.	Good At least one conflict that is well explained.
