Increases pressure and rechecks to find out if patients referral shows up again. Reminds to take deep breaths. Rechecks verbally if referral has lessened. No more than 3 releases.	Satisfactory Asks patient if recreates symptoms. Reminds to take deep breaths. Verbally checks back in to see if referral has decreased. Repeats only once.	Poor Does not ask about recreation of symptom. Does not remind patient to take deep breaths. Does not do a verbal check in determining if referral has decreased.
Assessing Myofascial Trigger Points (1) taut palpable band (2) Exquisite focal tenderness to digital pressure, within the taut band. (3) A local twitch response by using snapping palpation. (4) Reproduction of patients pain complaint.	Complete Verbally announces 1 & 3. Asks patient 2 & 4.	Satisfactory Verbally announces either 1 or 3. Asks patient either 2 or 4.	Poor Does not verbally announce or ask patient any questions.
Trigger point procedure (1)Place muscle in slightly elongated position. (2) Use finger tip or thumb (reinforced) directly on TrP reproducing symptoms. (3) Verbally asks if pressure is tolerably painful. (4) Ensures patient is taking slow deep breaths. (5) Verbally rechecks to see if symptoms have lessened, then gradually ads more pressure. (6) Repeats 3x	Complete Completes all steps with accuracy.	Satisfactory Completes 4/6 steps accurately.	Poor Completes <4 steps.
