Effort and creativity is evident.	Excellent There is ample evidence of effort and attention to detail. It is very pleasing to the eye, has more than one graphic, shows careful thinking, planning, and has a clear connection to the novel.
Content 20 pts The book report includes all necessary content: Title of the book, author of the book, the questions, the glossary, a well written paragraph, the creative option selected	Poor There is minimal to none of the necessary content. The information is not present.	Good There is some content that was required but still missing some of the required content. The information is a little confusing and doesn't flow well.	Excellent All necessary content is present and flows well together. The following is included: questions, vocabulary words that were new to you that were in the story, well written paragraph of important scene,creative component explained well
Mechanics 5 pts Correct application of syntax and word usage.	Poor There are several grammatical and spelling errors. Word choice is limited.
