Battery & Charging System Test
	Excellent 20 pts	Good 17.5 pts	Fair 15 pts	Unsatifactory 13 pts
Battery Voltage Test Measure battery voltage and determine State of Charge.	Excellent Demonstrated mastery of task. No assistance needed and all work was performed correctly.	Good Student is able to perform test with minimal assistance. May have missed a key point.	Fair Student needed moderate assistance. Student missed or did not complete entire task. Student is capable, needs practice.	Unsatifactory Student did not complete battery voltage test or displayed no exposure.
Perform Charging Test Measure charging system voltage and determine charging system output.	Excellent Demonstrated mastery of task. No assistance needed and all work was performed correctly	Good Student is able to perform test with minimal assistance. May have missed a key point.	Fair Student needed moderate assistance. Student missed or did not complete entire task. Student is capable, needs practice	Unsatifactory Did not perform test on charging system or Student displayed no exposure.
Remove & Install Battery Remove, clean & install battery according to task instructions	Excellent Demonstrated mastery of task. No assistance was needed and all work was done correctly.	Good Student is able to perform test with minimal assistance. May have missed a key point.	Fair Student can identify Pos. & Neg terminals, but needed moderate assistance to remove the battery. correctly. Student missed or did not complete entire task.	Unsatifactory Student is unable to identify positive and negative terminals or remove battery.
Follows Shop Safety Rules Student follows safety rules of shop. ie: wears safety glasses, operates equipment safely.	Excellent Student follows all safety rules in the shop and works in a safe manner.	Good Student works safely, needs reminders to keep safety glasses on.	Fair More frequent reminders to keep safety glasses on. Does not always work in a safe manner.	Unsatifactory Student can not work in the shop due to unsafe work habits
Clean -Up Student cleans work area. ie: put away tools and wipe down work area.	Excellent Student cleaned entire work area with no assistance.	Good Student cleaned work area with prompting.	Fair Student attempted to clean work area, but needed to be prompted.	Unsatifactory Student did not attempt put tools away or clean work area.
