Content	Excellent Clear topic. Consistent execution of poetry writing.	Good Poems focused, but not all the way through.	Fair Poems begin to lose focus on topic. Scattered, inconsistent.	Poor Poem topics unclear. Writing has no focus.
Visual Organization	Excellent Poetry book shows creativity in execution, with pictures and text intermingled.	Good Requirements met, but limited pictures and creativity in layout of poetry book.	Fair A picture or illustration or two with no creativity in arrangement.	Poor No pictures or illustrations. All text.
Grammar	Excellent 0-3 grammar, spelling, and/or usage errors.	Good 4 to 6 errors in grammar, usage, and/or spelling.	Fair 7 to 9 errors in grammar, usage, and/or spelling.	Poor 10 or more errors in grammar, usage, and/or spelling.
Style!!!	Excellent Poems show style in language and book is creatively designed. Unique use of literary elements.	Good Poems are clear in presentation, but lack creative voice. Literary elements used, but use is not creative.	Fair Poems and design lack creativity. Flat voice, lack of use of literary elements.	Poor Either all pictures or all text. No clear organization. No use of literary elements.
